At its heart, missions is about God's people connecting with people from other places and cultures with the goal of sharing the gospel with them, starting new churches, or strengthening existing churches. God has given us the mission to make disciples of all nations. At First Baptist Church, we seek to obey God through giving, sending, praying, and going in order to start churches and strengthen those that already exist. We hope that you will explore ways you can give, support and pray for those sent as missionaries and also discover ways you can go.

If you are planning on joining us in Missouri to help Mobile Baptist Builders as they frame out a large gym and kitchen, Sunday school rooms, and 2 apartments upstairs for missionaries, we'd like to know soon. We would like to finalize our hotel rooms before May 1st.  We will a meeting for those planning to go on the trip or wanting more information following the Morning Service on April 19th. Turks of Istanbul, Turkey

(is-tan-BULL) – Pray for the churches in Istanbul to grow in unity, love, and joy. Many churches have so few believers that relational issues can take a major toll on the church. Pray that believers will live out 1 Peter 3:8 (CSB): “Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble.”
