About Us

Women at First, under the direction of Jackie Clark, leads adult women, married or single, to serve their families, vocations, and the Kingdom with the servant heart of Christ. Women at First strives to teach the truths of God through Bible studies and other available avenues.

Throughout the year, Women at First provides various events to meet the unique spiritual needs of women. Some events are conducted on church campus, while others may be held at other venues.

The women's study will be going through the study "Life Under the Sun," by Hannah Anderson. The book will be available for purchase by speaking with the study leader, Jackie.

Through this 8-session Bible study, Hannah Anderson invites us to consider the wisdom of Ecclesiastes afresh as we search for a solid foundation for life under the sun. Together, we’ll learn to name our anxieties, concerns, and disappointments. We’ll discover how Ecclesiastes is more than self-help or good advice—how it frees us to ask the questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. And through its raw honesty and unflinching commitment to goodness, we’ll find hope in the One who guides all days under the sun.

Starting in October, our women's study will begin the "Find Your People" video study by Jennie Allen. More details about this study will be available in the coming weeks.

Fall Retreat

4th Annual Fall Retreat | Where Friends Gather

Camp Baldwin | October 3-4, 2025

The time is upon us! The retreat registration will be open from August 1st until September 19th.

This year's theme will be "Where Friends Gather." Our goal is to encourage friendships to continue to grow and create new friendships during the weekend. Our theme verse is Ecclesiastes 4:9-10a, which reads "two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up."

This event is for all ladies, ages 6th grade and up. Invitation Materials are available in the sanctuary lobby or in the Church Office.

There are two ticket options available: overnight and day-pass. A deposit is required at the time of registration. Overnight guests will be in a double-occupancy motel room; roommate requests can be made during registration. The cost for each ticket:

  • Overnight - $100
  • Day-pass - $60

More details and information about the retreat is available on our Retreat Page. For further inquiries, please contact us through the Connect form below or through one of the medias linked at the bottom of the page.

Want to help someone else attend?

Each year, we have ladies that want to attend the retreat but have a financial barrier. We receive donations throughout the year that we use for events like this, but there is always a need to be filled!

If you are interested in providing support to someone, you can donate directly to the Women's Ministry. This can be a complete ticket price, partial ticket price, or whatever amount you are able to contribute. If there is a particular person you would like to send, we would love to make that happen! If you are interested in supporting an attendee as the need is discovered, we would be thrilled to help facilitate this support.

If you are interested in donating or sponsoring someone, please reach out to Keely Mills regarding the process and/or registration steps.

This year, we are offering pre-order of our Retreat Crewneck. This crewneck is available to anyone who would like one, whether you attend the Annual Retreat or not. The crewneck will feature the Ministry's logo and the retreat theme, Where Friends Gather.

If there is an issue with online ordering/payment, please contact Keely Mills.
